  17.      reinstall Windows NT to correct them. Microsoft cannot

  25. IconVerticalSpacing specifies the number of pixels that appear
  26. vertically between icons. Windows NT determines the default based on
  27. the icon title font and the display you are using. Windows NT does not
  28. include a graphical user interface to change IconVerticalSpacing. You
  29. must use the Registry Editor (REGEDT32.EXE) to modify the default
  30. value.

  35. To add this new value to the Registry Editor:

  37. 1. Start REGEDT32.EXE, locate the following Registry subkey and then
  38.    click to select it:

  40.       HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
  41.  
  42. 2. From the Edit menu, choose Add Value. Type IconVerticalSpacing in
  43.    the Value Name field. Select REG_SZ for the Data Type and choose OK.
  44.    Enter the number of pixels desired in the String field and choose OK.

  46. 3. Exit the Registry Editor.

  48. 4. Log off from Windows NT, then log on again.

  50. NOTE: You may need to experiment with the pixels value to achieve the
  51. desired display.
